Do I need a chimney\/flue?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

A Bio-ethanol fireplace does not need a chimney or a flue. Bio-ethanol burns clean and is non-toxic. It releases very little carbon dioxide and water vapor.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n

Does it release any smoke?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

No, the combustion is clean and free of soot. Bio-ethanol is a clean burning flame.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n

How do I fill the burner and how long should I wait before refilling?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

Carefully pour bio-ethanol using a funnel. If the flame goes out, wait for the burner to cool (~20 minutes) before refilling.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n

How do I light the fire?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

Use a long match or a lighter.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n

Can I extinguish the fire before the ethanol burns out?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

Yes. Use an extinguisher or the snuffer provided. Never leave the fire unattended.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n

What is the heating capacity?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

Depending on room size and model: 2 – 5.6 KW (6828 – 19120 BTU).<\/p>\n<\/details>\n
