Brisa Bigmuk
Introducing the latest innovative Brisa knife — the BIGMUK. From the very start, the goal was to create a knife that could handle every task that might come up at a campsite.
When developing both the blade and the handle, two different purposes were kept in mind. The slightly heavier tip gives the knife more power when chopping through larger objects, and the finger guard at the back of the handle helps ensure a secure grip. When holding the knife close to the blade, it is easy to carve or make controlled and very precise cuts.

The Brisa Story
The Brisa adventure begins with two people who share a common love for craftsmanship and the rugged, unparalleled beauty of Finnish nature. One man is focused and goal-oriented, like the blade of a knife; the other is calm and methodical, like the protective sheath of a knife.
The story unfolds at a perfectly balanced point where Finnish nature and Finnish craftsmanship meet. One is famous for its endless interconnected network of lakes, and the other encompasses a long tradition of knife-making. What begins with a hard piece of steel to make a good pair of hiking skates deepens into true expertise in materials and the perfection of craftsmanship. These friends could never have imagined that their interest in skating would take them so much further than just the search for good ice.
Trapper, the very first Brisa knife, appeared in the late 90s and remains an international success story to this day, thanks to its unbeatable combination of intelligent design, durable materials, and Finnish craftsmanship. It has set a high bar for all subsequent models, ensuring that you can always rely on a Brisa knife.
From the days when blades clattered on ice, Brisa has grown from a friendship into a global community. Brisa has become the primary supplier of quality materials, expert advice, and thoughtful design. Experienced craftspeople and enthusiasts in the Brisa community constantly inspire us to take our products to the next level. Together, we form the Brisa legacy, preserving quality and the value of craftsmanship for future generations.
